Data controller: the publisher of the site, reachable at contact@blibou.app.
What stays with you
The tools run in your browser. What you type is not sent to us, unless you share a schedule.
Your browser keeps your last schedule, or its link once shared, in its local storage, so you find it again when you come back. Nothing else is stored there. This storage only serves the tool you are using, so it needs no consent. The “Reset” button removes it.
No cookies, no analytics, no third-party service loaded by the pages. The only thing kept in your browser is your last schedule, described above: it is only used to give it back to you. That is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts are served from our own server.
Server logs
Like any website, our server records each request:
- IP address and date;
- the address of the page requested, including the ID of a shared schedule (never its key);
- what your browser sends: browser and device model, language, the page you came from;
- the server’s response.
Purpose: security and smooth running of the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept for 7 days in our logging tool, then deleted automatically. A temporary technical copy, limited in size, may remain on the server for longer.
To limit abuse, the server also counts in memory, for one hour at most, the schedules created from each IP address.
Protection against attacks
The site is protected by CrowdSec, software that spots attacks in requests and logs. When an attack is detected, the IP address involved, the type of attack and the time are sent to CrowdSec SAS (20 rue Maurice Arnoux, 92120 Montrouge, France), which shares these signals to protect other sites. A normal visit sends nothing to CrowdSec. Alerts stay on our server for 7 days at most. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site.
Shared schedules
A schedule is only sent to our server when you tap “Share”. It contains what you put in it: first names of adults and children, days, who drops off and who picks up, days at home.
It is encrypted in your browser before it is sent. The key is in the link, after the # sign, and never reaches us: we cannot read the schedule. Anyone with the full link can read and edit it, so only send it to the people concerned.
It is deleted automatically after 30 days without use: opening or editing it restarts the 30 days. Legal basis: the service you ask for by sharing (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
If sharing fails (no connection), or in the QR code of a PDF printed before any sharing, the schedule is written into the link itself. That link does not go through our server, but it is not encrypted: anyone who sees it can read the first names.
Who receives this data
Only the publisher can access the logs. IONOS hosts the server. CrowdSec only receives the attack signals described above. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.
This data stays in Europe, with providers subject to the GDPR or located in a country the European Union recognises as offering equivalent protection.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@blibou.app. For logs, give your IP address and the time of your visit.
For a shared schedule, we do not know who created it. To delete it, you can remove the first names (the new version replaces the old one), let it expire (30 days without use), or send us its address without the part after the #, and we will delete it.
You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.
Intellectual property
blibou’s texts, illustrations and code are protected: do not copy them without permission. The schedules and images you create are yours. The Baloo 2 and Atkinson Hyperlegible fonts are under the SIL Open Font License.
Liability
The tools are free and given as a guide only. Bedtime clothing gives general guidance, not medical advice: also follow your sleeping bag maker’s chart and, if in doubt, ask your doctor. Check a schedule before relying on it.
